*BREAKING: Kenyan wins 2020 Lagos City Marathon* A  Kenyan identified as David Barmasai has emerged winner of the 2020 Lagos City Marathon. The 42km race commenced from National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, while the 10km race will start from Ikoyi link bridge by 10 am. Both races will finish at Eko Atlantic. This year, both male and female 42km runners compete for the grand prize of $50,000 while the second and third place winners will get $40,000 and $30,000 respectively. For the 10km race, the first male and female runners will drive home in brand new Kia Rio cars while the second and third place winners get N1,000,000 and N750,000 respectively. Details later…

*Visa restrictions: FG, US officials to hold crucial negotiation next week* The committpee set up by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), to look into issues surrounding the recent suspension of United States’ immigrant visa issuance to Nigerians has begun talks with the American government officials over the matter, Buhari had named the Minister of Interior, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, as the head of the committee, raised to liaise with the US government on the matter. The visa ban effective from February 21 listed Nigeria together with Eritrea, Myanmar, Tanzania and Kyrgyzstan. Col. Alexander Vindman , the  top Ukraine expert at the National Security Council , and US Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland. An adviser to Trump said the firings of the major impeachment witnesses was meant to send a message that siding against the President will not be tolerated.
